Customs evasion goods worth over 6 lakh seized in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Goods valued at over Rs 6 lakh, smuggled without customs clearance, were seized from multiple locations in Kailali.

Police patrol teams from Kailali District Police Office and its subordinate offices seized goods worth Rs 6,44,200, illegally imported from India, on Wednesday. The items were recovered from various locations, including Dhangadhi-1 L.N. Chowk, Dhangadhi-2 near Ramjanaki Temple, Dhangadhi-3 Chattakpur, Bhajani-3 Tirnima, Bhajani-7 Kuti, and Bhajani-8 Kanda DK.

Among the confiscated goods were potatoes, green chilies, peanuts, LED TVs, coats, painted fabrics, lehengas, suit pieces, paints, cosmetics, and other items.
