First bus service in Gaguda brings relief and joy to locals

Doti: Residents of Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality-6 in Gaguda, Doti, are expressing satisfaction with the launch of the area’s first bus service, connecting Gaguda to Dhangadhi.

Previously, locals had to change vehicles twice and pay high fares for jeep services to travel to Dhangadhi. Now, the direct bus route provides both convenience and affordability, according to local Teksmriti Chand.

On Monday at 7 a.m., Sudurpaschim Province Bus No. 3490 of Shaileswari Transport Pvt. Ltd. departed Gaguda for Dhangadhi, marking the first journey. The bus route, covering the Sahajpur-Bogtan-Dipayal road section, features a mix of paved and double-cut road segments from Dipayal to Gaguda.
