Five arrested with narcotics in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Police have detained five individuals in Kailali on drug-related charges.

Rupesh B.K., 22, of Bhajani Municipality-5 Lalboji, and Kusal Giri, 21, of Ghodaghodi Municipality-4 Simthari, were arrested with 1.740 grams of heroin by a joint team from the Bhajani and Prithwipur area police offices.

An 18-year-old from Baiyabehdi, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-1, was also apprehended by the Shantinagar police post, found with 16 Spas tablets.

Additionally, Sagar Shahi, 23, and a 17-year-old, both from Mohanyal Rural Municipality-2 Pandon, were arrested in Bardagoria Rural Municipality-4 Muda Bazar. They were found with 165 Tramadol capsules, 143 Abil capsules, two mobile phones, and Rs. 45,500 in cash. The arrests were conducted on Friday by a police team from Sadakpur Buniyan.
