A man arrested for killing his wife in Doti

Doti: In Doti, a man killed his wife by slitting her throat with a sickle.

50-year-old Padi Saud of Purvichowki Rural Municipality-5 Uparkanda killed 45-year-old Naru Saud with a sickle. Bhimalal Bhattarai, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office, Doti, said that Padi killed his wife with a sickle at around 3 pm on (Wednesday). DSP Bhattarai said that this incident occurred due to a dispute between the couple. The police arrested Saud, who was involved in the incident, and further investigation has been intensified.

Police said that the body was taken to District Hospital Doti for post-mortem.
