Industrial Loans in Far West Nepal Total Rs 25.22 Billion

Dhangadhi– By the end of December 2080, banks and financial institutions in the Far West region of Nepal disbursed a total of Rs 25.22 billion in industrial loans.

This marks a 6.18 percent decrease compared to the Rs 26.89 billion provided by the end of June 2080. In contrast, during the same period last year, industrial loans saw a growth of 13.47 percent.

A significant portion of these loans, 79.82 percent, was allocated to Kailali, while Bajura received the least, at 0.19 percent. Specifically, banks and financial institutions provided Rs 4.76 million in Bajura, Rs 5.92 million in Bajhang, and Rs 10.42 million in Darchula. In other districts, Rs 9.17 million was invested in Baitadi, Rs 39.36 million in Dadeldhura, Rs 18.93 million in Doti, and Rs 145.54 million in Achham. The highest amount of industrial loans, Rs 20.14 billion, was invested in Kailali, followed by Rs 406.61 million in Kanchanpur, according to a study report by Nepal Rastra Bank, Dhangadhi.
