Website of Far Western Province's Chief Minister and Council of Ministers Hacked
Dhangadhi – The official website of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of the Far Western Province has been compromised.
The breach occurred at 10:30 am on Friday, rendering the site unviewable. Jagdish Prasad Joshi, the Information Officer, confirmed the hacking incident, noting that immediate action was taken to address the issue.
"As soon as we were aware that the website was hacked, we informed the information technology department in Kathmandu. Efforts are currently underway to restore the site," Joshi stated. Visitors to the website are now greeted with the message "Hacked by Captain Smoke 3 R," indicating the hacker responsible for the breach.
The IT department is actively working to regain control and secure the website from further attacks.
