Construction worker Swept Away by Mahakali River Found Dead Kanchanpur
Kanchanpur: A construction worker who went missing after being swept away by the Mahakali River in Kanchanpur has been found dead.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when laborers from a construction company working on a four-lane concrete bridge over the Mahakali River went fishing.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Umesh Joshi, spokesperson for the District Police Office Kanchanpur, the missing laborer has been identified as Dhan Bahadur Gurung of Barahtal Rural Municipality-4 Sajghat in Surkhet.
Gurung drowned and went missing while fishing in the Mahakali River. A police team dispatched from the Dodhara Chandni area police station discovered Gurung's body in the evening. Authorities are conducting the necessary investigations to gather more details about the incident.
