Man Arrested For Spying On The Cops To Help Smugglers And Traffickers

Dhangadhi: A man who had been spying on the police on behalf of smugglers has been arrested in Dhangadhi.

Budhiram Chaudhary of Dhangadhi-7 was arrested on Saturday. Police arrested 32-year-old Padam Parki of Taratal, Dhangadhi-9 today.

Parki, who was working as a barber at Bhagat Chowk, Dhangadhi-8, used to cut hair in the afternoon and inform the smugglers about the police at night. Parki has given a statement to the police that he had been imparting information to traffickers about the police for the past 7/8 years.

Kailali Police Spokesperson Kavindra Bahadur Bohra said that Parki was disseminating information to the smugglers group from Bangraktan to Bhagat Chowk. According to the District Police Office, he gave a statement that he took 500 from the smuggler group per information. It has been revealed that the smugglers groups have formed a group of people who have been spying on the police in Dhangadhi since a long time.
