Journalist Sakuntala Saund Injured in Collision with Bolero Jeep in Attariya

Dhangadhi: Renowned journalist Sakuntala Saund sustained injuries following a collision with a Bolero jeep in Attariya, Kailali.

As reported by the Malakheti Area Police Office, the incident occurred on the Bhimdatta Highway in Teghri, where Saund's scooter, bearing Sudurpaschim Pradesh number 01011 P 9129, was struck from behind by the Bolero jeep.

The jeep responsible for the collision fled the scene, prompting authorities to launch an investigation and seize suspected vehicles for further examination. Saund, an integral member of Attariya-based TV Today, is currently undergoing treatment at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi, having sustained a broken right arm due to the impact of the collision.
