Fire Erupts at Baitadi Hotel: Prompt Response Controls Blaze

Baitadi: A fire incident occurred within a hotel premises in Baitadi, triggering a swift response from emergency services.

The blaze ignited on the ground floor of Ammi Khaja Ghar Hotel, operated by Karan Pandey and situated in Surnaya Rural Municipality-2 Satbanj, reportedly due to a short circuit in an electrical wire on Friday night. District Police Office Baitadi disclosed that the fire resulted in the destruction of property valued at 60,000, including furniture, clothing, and other belongings within the affected room.

Efforts to contain the fire were successfully carried out with the assistance of local authorities and residents. Subsequently, law enforcement agencies have initiated inquiries into the incident.
