Four Apprehended in Kanchanpur with Narcotics; Police Seize Illegal Drugs

Kanchanpur: A coordinated police operation in Kanchanpur resulted in the arrest of four individuals on drug-related charges.\

Authorities detained four suspects in possession of approximately 1 gram and 60 milligrams of illicit substances, identified as brown heroin, along the road of Bhimdatta Municipality-10 Sukashal during Sunday evening.

The apprehended individuals include 22-year-old Dhiraj Bishta from Laljhadi Rural Municipality-5, 21-year-old Dinesh Bishta from Krishnapur Municipality-3, 28-year-old Roshan Chand from Suklaphanta Municipality-10, and 26-year-old Pradip Periyar from Bhimdatta Municipality-1.

Acting on information, officers from the District Police Office Kanchanpur intercepted a vehicle bearing license plate Sudurpaschim Province 02001 H 2230 and subsequently made the arrests after discovering the narcotics inside the car. Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Dangi, spokesperson for the District Police Office Kanchanpur, confirmed the detention of the four suspects.
