Pregnant Woman Air-lifted to Safety in Bajura
Bajura: A pregnant woman was successfully evacuated via helicopter in Bajura today, ensuring prompt medical assistance.
Durga Budha, aged 28 and a resident of Jagannath Rural Municipality-3, was airlifted to Surkhet by a Nepali Army helicopter, as confirmed by the District Administration Office Bajura.
The District Police Office Bajura disclosed that Durga, facing critical medical complications, underwent a cesarean section delivery. Subsequently, due to the precarious health condition of both the mother and newborn, they were referred to Surkhet for advanced medical care.
This swift and decisive action highlights the crucial role of emergency services in safeguarding the lives of vulnerable individuals, particularly in remote areas where access to medical facilities may be limited.
