Dhangadhi: The Far West region witnessed a surge in COVID-19 cases as seven individuals tested positive for the virus in a single day on Friday.
According to the State Emergency Operation Center in Dhangadhi, a total of 141 new cases were reported on Friday alone, signaling a concerning uptick in coronavirus infections in Sudurpaschim Province.
Recent data from the Directorate of Health in Dipayal indicates a growing trend of COVID-19 transmission in the Far West, with 21 confirmed cases recorded within the past eight days.
This escalation in infections underscores the ongoing need for heightened vigilance and adherence to public health guidelines to curb the spread of the virus in the region.
