Woman Suffers Severe Electric Shock in Darchula

Darchula: Tragedy struck in Darchula as a woman sustained serious injuries from an electric shock.

Kumari Titra, aged 55 and a resident of Shailyashikhar Municipality-1, Baril, was electrocuted while tending to her goats in the garden. The incident occurred when she inadvertently came into contact with a live wire hanging from an electric pole.

The District Police Office Darchula reported that Kumari Titra's condition is critical following the electrocution. Urgent measures are being taken to provide initial treatment at Gokuleshwar Hospital, with plans underway to airlift her to Kathmandu for further medical attention.
