Journalist Ramesh Aidy Honors Late Mother's Memory with Acts of Kindness
Dhangadhi: Renowned journalist Ramesh Aidy marked the anniversary of his late mother, Bisnadevi Aidy, by extending a compassionate gesture towards the needy. Today, on his mother's memorial day, Aidy graciously donated food supplies to the Drashti Foundation, a noble act aimed at aiding 65 homeless individuals, including women and children.
The event, held in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-19, witnessed Aidy's heartfelt contribution, a tradition he upholds annually in remembrance of his beloved mother. Bisnadevi Aidy tragically lost her life to electrocution on the 29th of Falgun in the year 2078 BS.
Notably, this is not the first time Aidy has chosen philanthropy as a means to honor his mother's legacy. Last year, he extended his generosity to the Manav Seva Ashram, underscoring his commitment to serving humanity in her memory.
Aidy, representing his family including his father Mahavir Aidy, sister Bhavna Aidy, brother Bhuvan Aidy, and sister Rosa Aidy, presented food items worth 10,000 rupees to the foundation. Reflecting on his altruistic endeavors, Aidy emphasized the profound significance of redirecting resources towards noble causes, stressing that such acts not only bring solace but also have the potential to save lives.
Through his selfless actions, Aidy continues to perpetuate the legacy of his late mother, embodying the spirit of compassion and kindness within the community.
