Authorities Seize Suspected Wild Boar and Chital Meat in Kailali
Dhangadhi: Law enforcement authorities in Kailali have confiscated meat resembling wild boar and chital.
A total of 61 kilograms of meat was apprehended from Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-13 on Sunday by a team deployed from the Nepal Police Provincial Office in Mahendranagar and the Kailali Village Police Station. Deputy Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Chand, spokesperson for the District Police Office, revealed that the meat was discovered abandoned on a motorcycle bearing registration number SE 2 P 3796.
According to spokesperson Chand, the seized meat consists of 38 kilograms resembling wild boar meat and 16 kilograms resembling chital meat. Both the motorcycle and the confiscated meat have been transferred to the Division Forest Office in Dhangadhi for further investigation and necessary legal action.
