Health Screening Held in Dhangadhi Stadium on World Obesity Day

Dhangadhi: In observance of World Obesity Day, a comprehensive health screening event was organized at Dhangadhi Stadium by the Health Office Kailali. 

From 7:00 am to 8:30 pm on Tuesday, the Rangshala Gate welcomed members of the public to avail themselves of free general health check-ups. Min Bahadur Dhami, a Health Assistant at the Health Office Kailali, highlighted the significance of the initiative, particularly targeting those who engage in morning walks. The health check-up program, aligned with the theme of World Obesity Day, aimed to assess factors such as blood pressure, blood sugar levels, weight, and height, fostering awareness about the importance of routine health examinations.

Dhami reported that a total of 53 individuals participated in the health screening, underscoring the community's growing awareness and commitment to maintaining good health through regular check-ups.
