Regional Fine Art Exhibition Commences in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: The Provincial Fine Art Exhibition, 2080, has commenced in Dhangadhi, marking the collaborative effort between the Kamaladi Pragya Institute of Fine Arts Kathmandu and Sudurpaschim Pragya Pratishtan.
In a ceremony held on Sunday, Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah inaugurated the exhibition at the Sudurpaschim Pragya Pratishthan building. Scheduled to run until February 24, the exhibition showcases a diverse array of artworks, including sculptures, paintings, murals, handicrafts, and folk art, crafted by artists from the Far West region.
The exhibition, open to the public free of charge until Thursday, offers spectators the opportunity to appreciate and engage with the artistic creations on display. Organizers have announced plans to award prizes to the most outstanding artworks featured in the exhibition, with selected pieces slated for display at the National Fine Arts Exhibition.
