Trio Involved in False Promises of Army Jobs Incarcerated, Others Granted Bail

Darchula: In a case involving fraudulent activities related to promising individuals positions within the Nepali Army, three out of the eight apprehended suspects have been sentenced to imprisonment.

Among the group arrested on charges of collecting funds under false pretenses and guaranteeing employment in the Nepali Army, three individuals have been incarcerated following an order from District Court Judge Khemraj Bhatt of Darchula. The accused have been identified as Narendrasingh Mahar (27) from Mahakali Municipality-3 Banj, Rukumsingh Mahar (38), and Shyamsingh Dhami (51) from Malikarjun Rural Municipality-3.

Meanwhile, the court has granted bail to the remaining five individuals involved in the case. The decision to release them on bail was reached in accordance with due legal processes.

The legal proceedings underline the authorities' commitment to curbing fraudulent activities and upholding the integrity of promises made to the public.
