RASPA Urges Project Implementation Unit to Expedite Main Road Work in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: Dhangadhi's Raswapa Committee expressed concern over the delay in upgrading the road from Dhangadhi intersection to Kailalipool and submitted a memorandum to the project implementation unit on Thursday. The letter highlighted that Kalika Construction Pvt. Ltd., responsible for the road upgrading project, had repeatedly extended the deadline without resuming construction work. As a result, the main road section in the temporary capital of Sudurpaschim Province remains muddy during the rainy season and causes inconvenience during other times.
The committee emphasized that the inactive project results in widespread dust accumulation, negatively impacting the aesthetics of Dhangadhi market. Moreover, it has led to numerous complaints from the public regarding difficulties in commuting, daily life, walking, and overall health concerns. The National Independent Party Dhangadhi brought attention to these issues and urged prompt action.
The party stated that if the construction company continues to hesitate in starting the construction work on time, they would be compelled to initiate a pressure program.
