Tragic Car Accident Claims Lives of Minister Singh's Wife and Sister-in-Law; Minister in Critical Condition

Dhangadhi: Tragic news struck as Amrita Devi, the wife of Home Affairs and Law Minister Prithvi Bahadur Singh, and his sister-in-law Janaki, lost their lives in a car accident.

On Tuesday, while traveling from Dhangadhi to Bajhang, the vehicle with license plate number 01001 Jh 480 was involved in a severe accident. Authorities have confirmed the unfortunate demise of Minister Singh's wife and sister-in-law in the tragic incident. Minister Singh himself sustained critical injuries and is currently in a critical condition, as reported by the police.

Following the accident, Minister Singh, accompanied by his Personal Security Officer Deepak Bhandari and driver Dharmaraj Joshi, was airlifted to Nepalgunj for further medical treatment.

The accident occurred at Dharchda in Bagthala, along the Jai Prithvi highway, while they were en route from Dadeldhura to Bajhang on Tuesday.
