Fire Destroys Property Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: An unfortunate incident unfolded in Kanchanpur as a fire engulfed a crude shed.

The blaze originated in the shed owned by Devraj Bhatt, located in Bagun, Bedkot Municipality-4 of the district. The fire, stemming from a kitchen stove, swiftly engulfed the two-story structure made of wood and thatch, resulting in its complete destruction. Regrettably, the fire also caused harm to a buffalo, leading to burns on its back, with an estimated damage amounting to Rs. 150,000.

The local authorities promptly responded to the emergency, and with the assistance of nearby residents and the police, managed to bring the fire under control.
