Resham Chaudhary Meets Prime Minister Prachanda to Discuss Civil Liberties Party's Inclusion in Far West Government
Dhangadhi: Reshammalal Chaudhary, the patron of the Civil Liberties Party, had a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda). Accompanied by his wife, Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Ranjita Shrestha Chaudhary, Resham held discussions with Prime Minister Prachanda.
During their meeting on Monday morning, various governmental and political matters were deliberated upon, focusing on the participation of the Civil Liberties Party in the Far West Province government. As per their previous agreement, Resham has requested two ministerial positions and one state minister position in the Far West government. In response, Prime Minister Prachanda has assured him that the ministry positions will be granted as per the agreement.
The recent cabinet expansion in the Far West, led by Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah on May 20th (Jestha 6th), did not include representation from the Civil Liberties Party. Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is responsible for land management, while the Civil Liberties Party seeks two additional ministries and one state minister position.
The outcome of the meeting and the subsequent fulfillment of the agreement will play a crucial role in shaping the participation of the Civil Liberties Party in the governance of the Far West Province.
