Indian Tenants Allegedly Rob Housewives in Kanchanpur After Drugging Them with Juice
Kanchanpur: Two individuals of Indian nationality, who recently sought accommodation for rent in Kanchanpur, have committed theft and subsequently fled.
These individuals, who had taken up residence in the rented room belonging to Khageshwari Pwali of Gobariya in Bhimdatta Municipality-4, perpetrated the robbery. The Kanchanpur District Police Office reported that the incident occurred two days ago when the Indians rented the room in Pwali's house. Allegedly, on the night of Wednesday, the entire household, including a young child, was offered juice, which rendered them unconscious, providing an opportunity for the thieves to carry out their act.
Subsequently, all seven members of the affected family were promptly transported to Mahakali Hospital in Mahendranagar. Fortunately, everyone has since regained consciousness. The Kanchanpur police have revealed that the stolen items include a 10-ana gold Tilhari necklace and a sum of 4,000 in cash. However, the police have not yet obtained comprehensive information regarding the incident. Regrettably, the Pwali family is unaware of the identity or address of the Indian tenants. As a result, the Kanchanpur police are currently engaged in an active search operation to locate the culprits.
