Excavator Mishap in Doti Leaves Driver Injured

Doti: On Wednesday, an unfortunate incident involving an excavator occurred in Doti.

The accident took place during the construction of the Jigrana Betura road in Sayal Rural Municipality-3 of the district. Bikas Sijapati, a 24-year-old resident of Gauriganga Municipality-5 in Kailali, was operating excavator No. 3 P 4085 when a stone dislodged from above, causing the excavator to plummet approximately 100 meters down the road.

The local authorities have reported that the driver sustained injuries as a result of the accident. He is currently receiving medical attention at Doti District Hospital.
