Minister Deuba Urges Caution and Support for Favorable Actions, Warns Against Unpopular Initiatives

Dhangadhi: Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development for the province, Prakash Bahadur Deuba, has called for caution regarding unpopular actions taken by citizens. During the 16th Republic Day celebrations in Dhangadhi organized by the Far West Government, Minister Deuba urged for supportive engagement in beneficial endeavors while warning against activities that are not favored by the public.

State Chief Devraj Joshi was the distinguished guest at the Republic Day ceremony, which was chaired by Minister Deuba. The ceremony witnessed the presence of the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly, Provincial Government Ministers, Members of the Provincial Assembly, Chief of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Chief Secretary of the Province, Provincial Chief of Security Agency, and Provincial Government employees.

As part of the Republic Day commemoration, the Ministers paid tribute to martyr Dashrath Chand at the Shaheed Gate by laying wreaths. Following the ceremony, a procession commenced from the traffic intersection. Minister of Internal Affairs and Law, Prithvi Bahadur Singh, delivered a congratulatory speech during the Republic ceremony, affirming the commitment of the state government to operate in accordance with the spirit of the Republic, which arose from a decade-long struggle.

He highlighted that prioritizing the effectiveness of public endeavors is a crucial objective for the provincial government. He further expressed that the provincial government would continue the positive initiatives introduced by the previous administration and collaborate with local authorities. During the event, Minister Deuba, responsible for Physical Infrastructure Development, stated that it is the collective responsibility of all citizens to guide the nation towards economic prosperity by establishing and institutionalizing the republican system, which was achieved through the sacrifices and struggles of the Nepalese people. He emphasized that Republic Day serves as an inspiration to construct a just society founded on democratic principles, cultural values, and the promotion of good governance.
