Two-Day Climate Change Workshop Concludes at Setigaon Multipurpose Campus, Baitadi

Baitadi: The Setigaon Multipurpose Campus in Gokuleswar, Baitadi, successfully concluded a comprehensive workshop on climate change over a period of two days.

The workshop received support from the Setigaon Multipurpose Campus itself, financial backing from Dilashaini Rural Municipality, and technical assistance from NYCA Baitadi and Swaviyu. A total of 35 students from Setigaon Multipurpose Campus, Gokuleshwar College of Agriculture and Animal Science, and Gokuleshwar Multipurpose Campus in Darchula participated in the workshop.

Anil Kumar Bisht, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Setigaon Multipurpose Campus, highlighted that the workshop centered on the effects of climate change, its implications, and strategies for mitigating its impacts. Mohan Bohra, Chairman of Setigaon Multipurpose Campus, emphasized that the workshop aimed to build community-level capacity to address the increasingly complex global challenge of climate change.

Upon the workshop's conclusion, Santosh Prakash Joshi, Chairman of Dilashaini Rural Municipality, commended the seminar for its crucial role in raising awareness among young individuals about climate change. Joshi further expressed the municipality's commitment to supporting all creative initiatives organized by the campus.
