Meanwhile, Nepali Congress leader Dr. Ran Bahadur Rawal managed to secure a ticket but was defeated by the civil emancipation candidate.
Now the three leaders are visiting different countries with their families. Former Home Affairs and Law Minister Rawal is visiting Sri Lanka, while former Home Affairs and Law Minister Poorna Joshi is touring Australia with her family. Similarly, former Social Development Minister Krishnaraj Subedi recently visited the USA with his family.
All three ex-ministers are personally traveling abroad with their families, and they have been sharing pictures of their visits to different countries and cities on social media.
The foreign tours of these former ministers have been met with mixed reactions. Some have criticized the ex-ministers for indulging in leisure activities while others have defended their right to travel with their families. Nonetheless, their travels have sparked public debate and highlighted the need for transparency and accountability in politics.
