2 arrested with heroin in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Police in Kailali have arrested two individuals on charges of possessing heroin, a narcotic substance commonly referred to as "brown sugar". Suvash Chaudhary, aged 24, and Prakash Badayak, aged 34, were apprehended in the Lamkichuha Municipality-10 Piparowa area of the district, where law enforcement officials discovered approximately one gram of the illegal substance in their possession.

According to reports, the arrest was made following a tip-off, with officers from the Area Police Office Lamki conducting the operation that led to the suspects' detention.

The possession and distribution of narcotics are serious criminal offenses in Nepal, and law enforcement agencies have been working to combat the illegal drug trade in the country. The authorities have recently been focusing their efforts on intercepting the supply chain and apprehending individuals involved in the production, distribution, and sale of illicit drugs.
