Kanchanpur woman attacked by tiger while cutting grass
Kanchanpur: A woman has been attacked by a tiger in Belauri Municipality-8 Pachui of Kanchanpur, Nepal.
Local resident Ganga Chand, aged 42, was cutting grass near the Khapti canal when she was attacked and taken away by the tiger, according to District Police Officer DSP Prakash Dangi.
The search for the missing woman is ongoing, but is being made difficult by the presence of wetlands and bushes on the canal's banks. Tigers have been seen in the area since mid-March. In a similar incident in late March, a woman was killed in India's Dudhuwa National Park after being attacked by a tiger.
