Dhangadhi: A private school situated in Bhimdatta, Kanchanpur, Nepal, will not be permitted to increase fees or change textbooks, according to recent reports.

The decision was made by the Bhimdatta Municipality for the current academic session of 2080, citing concerns over private schools' practices, such as changing uniforms annually and purchasing them from a specific vendor, as well as altering textbooks by establishing new publication houses. The move has been welcomed by parents, who have urged the local government to take further action to alleviate their financial burdens.

The municipality has directed institutional schools in the city to maintain the fee structure only after receiving approval from the municipality, highlighting their commitment to regulating private schools' actions in the region.
