7-Year-Old Girl's Death in Baitadi Sparks Tragedy

Baitadi: In Baitadi, a tragic incident has occurred where a 7-year-old girl has been found dead. The young girl had gone missing on Monday from Patan municipality ward number-4 in the district, only to be discovered deceased on Tuesday.

Yogesh Khatri, the Information Officer of the District Police Office in Baitadi, confirmed that Lalita Chand, the daughter of local resident Ramesh Chand, was found deceased in Mangrao river at 7:35 am on Tuesday. Lalita had been playing outside when she disappeared from her home, prompting a search.

The Baitadi district police office has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Lalita's untimely demise.
