Bajhang teacher dies from electrocution in Tanahun accident

Dhangadhi: A teacher from Bajhang has died in Tanahun due to electrocution following a motorcycle accident. Jeevan Rokaya, a 27-year-old teacher and outgoing accountant of Bal Vikash Secondary School Dhamena in Ward No. 3 of Bajhang's Diyanot Rural Municipality, had recently named himself in the primary level teacher service commission and was returning home after the school break. 

The accident occurred on Sunday in an inner road section of Koldanda, Ghiring rural municipality ward number-2 of Tanahun district when he touched a three-phase line lying on the side of the road. Despite receiving treatment in Pokhara, he passed away. Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Bahadur Khan confirmed the incident. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
