Dhangadhi: In Kanchanpur, students from Kanchan Multipurpose Campus have taken action by locking down the Regional Examination Control Office Attariya. The reason behind their protest is due to the sudden relocation of their examination center. The president of Swaviyu, Dev Bahadur Saund, stated that the campus was locked down as students were confused by the abrupt move of their examination center.

The decision to move the center was made known to the students only on the 1st of the month, despite the examination having already commenced on the 4th. Around 250 students were affected by the sudden shift, causing unnecessary pain to those involved, according to Ramesh Bohara, treasurer of the campus. The students are demanding the return of the examination center to their own campus, and have threatened to stage protests if their demand is not met.

As part of their protest, the students have locked the examination control office and announced their intention to hold a symbolic vigil. Additionally, they have declared that they will indefinitely lock the campus and the examination control office and boycott the exam until their demands are met.
