Corona infection in 19 more people in Far West
Dhangadhi: Nineteen more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Far West Province, according to the Sudurpaschim Province Health Directorate. On Friday, out of 383 people tested, 19 were found to be infected through the antigen test conducted at the border crossing. This news follows the confirmation of 36 cases on Thursday.
To prevent the spread of the virus, health desks have been established at all checkpoints in the district bordering India, and all individuals entering the country must undergo a COVID-19 test. Yogesh Prasad Bhatt, the Head of Health Office in Baitadi, shared this information.
Since the start of the pandemic, 654,471 people in Far West Province have been tested for coronavirus, with 62,187 individuals testing positive. The infection has caused 635 deaths in the region. The authorities continue to take measures to control the spread of the virus and protect the health and safety of the population.
