Janamthali Manch Sudurpaschim and Curix Dance celebrated the New Year musical festival
Dhangadhi: A musical festival was held at Attariya Bus Park in Kailali on Friday to celebrate the New Year. The event, titled Navras Sangitik Utsav 2080, was organized by Curix Dance Studio and Janmathali Manch Sudurpaschim to showcase various art cultures of the province and promote them.
Harish Vikram Khadayat, the owner of Curix Dance Studio, explained that the festival aimed to spread new joy, happiness, and peace while exchanging good wishes in the new year. The event was also an opportunity for the Curics, who have been exposing local costumes, language, customs, and culture through dance for a long time, to further their reach and impact.
The festival featured performances by both local and national level artists. Chakra Bam, Suresh Chokhal, and other famous artists gave musical performances, while Harish Vikram Khadayat, Vishal Ojha, and other students from Curix Dance Studio performed various dance routines. The event was moderated by the renowned announcer KP Kalouni.
The organizers hoped to identify and promote different art cultures in the region through the festival, which marked the beginning of a new year with a celebration of art, music, and culture.
