Four youth arrested with drugs in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Four youths have been arrested with drugs in Dhangadhi of Kailali. Four youths were arrested with drugs from different places in Dhangadhi.

Two persons were arrested on Saturday evening with 200 milligrams of drugs from Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-2 Milan Chowk. Among those arrested are 40-year-old Om Adhikari of Dhangadhi-2 and 22-year-old Bhupendra Mishra of the same place. The police team deployed from Ward Police Office Dhangadhi arrested both people along with Brown Sugar.

Similarly, two more people were arrested with drugs from Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-7 Manehra. On Saturday evening, the police arrested 18-year-old youth of Dhangadhi-7 and 20-year-old Asim Sagar Chaudhary of Joshipur rural municipality-4 with 260 milligrams. The police team deployed from District Police Office Kailali said that they were arrested with drugs.

Lately, people involved in drug trafficking and distribution have been arrested from various places in Dhangadhi. Kailali Police said that after the drug network spread through the city to the villages, the people involved in this activity are being arrested on a daily basis. Locals said that drug users are in villages.
