A Tiger Attack Leaves One Injured in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A tiger attack occurred in Kailali resulting in one person being injured. Pawan Auji, a 27-year-old Tikapur resident, was attacked by a tiger in Tikapur municipality ward number 8 of the district on Friday morning at around 10:30 am. The attack took place in a wheat field, and Pawan suffered injuries to his hand and ear. The tiger fled after the locals shouted to scare it away. Tikapur police have reported sightings of a tiger in the Nepal-India border area.

The injured person has been transferred to Rajapur in Bardiya for medical treatment. Local police have issued a warning for residents to remain vigilant in the area, as there have been previous incidents of tiger attacks.
