Professors of SPA condemn the indecent behavior against Yograj Upadhyay

Dhangadhi: The professors and employees of the campus have condemned the indecent behavior against Yograj Upadhyay, the campus head of Far-Western Academy (SPA College) in Dhangadhi.

The professors and staff held a meeting on Saturday and strongly condemned the act committed by the students. The professors and staff have united against the behavior exhibited toward the campus head. Campus head Yograj Upadhyay was treated indecently while he was teaching in the class on Friday afternoon, the campus said. "We strongly condemn the indecent behavior of some chaotic students and people who dragged him out of the classroom while he was teaching, they called him names, rubbed black grease on his face, and slapped him. We believe it to be a very reprehensible and indecent act."

The police immediately arrested those involved in the act and proceeded with the action. But later the campus head Upadhyaya excused them and made them leave. "We feel that his status is even higher because the honorable campus head showed kindness to the students and asked the police to release the students arrested by the police," said the statement.

All the professors and staff have expressed their commitment that such incidents will not weaken the steps taken by the SPA in the educational improvement of this area.
