Two Nepalese arrested with cannabis in India
Darchula: Two Nepalis have been arrested in India with hash. The special operation group of Uttarakhand Police arrested 30-year-old Umesh Bahadur Pal of Mahakali Municipality-6 Paunekhola and 26-year-old Ravi Kuwan of Duhu Rural Municipality-1 Pipaulchauri from Dharchula Tehsil Nayabasti on 6th Chait.
The police arrested them along with three kilos of 680 grams of hashish around 7 pm on Monday. According to Uttarakhand Police, a case has been filed against both the arrested persons under the NDPS Act related to drug trafficking. It is suspected that the recovered Charesh was taken to India through the Darchula border. After the news that two persons including Charesh were arrested in the Dharchula region of India, police said that the border crossing at Khalanga has been tightened.
