Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City organizes an architectural design competition

Dhangadhi: Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City has signed an MOU between DSMC and SONA to organize an architectural design competition for a Public Toilet proposed for the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City (DSMC), following the MOU between DSMC and SONA.

The Society of Nepalese Architects is conducting an architectural design competition for a Public Toilet proposed for the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City (DSMC), following the MOU between DSMC and SONA.

The site is located adjacent to the Municipality Building and Dhangadhi Park. The dimensions of the site are 34.30mX 30.5m. There is an existing public toilet on the site which will be dismantled for the construction of a new public toilet. The GPS coordinate of the site is 28°42'24.44"N, 80°35'4.88"E. The proposed site will also have to cater to the parking requirement of the municipality

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

March 05, 2023, 17:00

Late submissions shall not be considered for evaluations.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Architects and architecture students are eligible to participate in the competition.

• Individuals or teams of three (Maximum) can participate in the design competition. One of the members of the team must be a SONA member.

• Participating architects must have valid/renewed membership of the Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA).

CERTIFICATES AND PRIZES:

- All entries will be given a certificate of participation. The two winning entries shall be awarded cash prizes as per the following:

- 1st Prize – Rs. 1,25,000

- 2nd Prize – Rs. 75,000

Note: Tax should be deducted as per the norms.
