Three Nepalis from Kailali die in a bus accident in India

Dhangadhi: The identities of three people who died in a bus accident in India have been revealed. The identity of three people from Tikapur in Kailali who lost their lives in the accident has been made public.

 

According to the police, 55-year-old Chandra Saud, 45-year-old Lalit Saud, and 20-year-old Nirmala Bohra of Tikapur Municipality Ward No. 1 died in the accident.  Another person who died in the accident was an Indian driver. 17 others were injured. The cause of the accident has not been revealed.

 

The bus was heading from Gujarat to Tikapur in Kailali when it met with an accident on Sunday night at Unnau near Lucknow, India. According to preliminary information, 4 Nepalis traveling in the bus have died. According to Bhupendra Saud, local residents of Tikapur who were traveling on the bus lost their lives. A few others on board have sustained injuries. There were 66 passengers on the bus.

 

The accident took place 30 km away from Lucknow. Saud said that the bus collided with another bus when the accident occurred. The number plate of the bus could not be revealed. Indian buses operate from Tikapur to transport Nepalis from Gujarat, Surat, and other regions of India. But they operate voluntarily and occasionally.
