Nepal police arrests three Indian nationals involved in multiple robberies in Kanchanpur
Dhangadhi: The Kanchanpur police has arrested three Indian goons with weapons Baishakhkha village of Belauri municipality-1. In a press conference heald by Kanchanpur police they revealed information about the three Indian nationals involved in the incident.
Incident number 1
A group of approximately 5 to 6 people robbed Lalita Bhatta's house in Phataiagaon, Belauri Municipality Ward No. 1, Kanchanpur. According to Bhatta they threatened them by pointing sickles, knives and pistols at them. The locals informed the police about the incident which took place at 1:45 am on December 7. A group of police personnel were mobilized under the command of police inspector Dansingh Bhandari from the area police office Belauri and police sub-inspector Lokendra Bahadur Chand from police station Fatia.
According to the police the robbers stole cash worth 3 lakhs 20 thousand along with a Tilahari worth 13 thousand, a pair of gold earring made of 3/8 troy ounce of gold costing 1 lakh 2 thousand, a Mangalsutra worth 32 thousand, two rings worth 51 thousand, an earring worth 13 thousand, nose pins worth 11 thousand, 2 sarees worth 20 thousand and two cell phones were stolen from Bhatta's house.
Incident number 2
A group of approximately 6/7 Indians robbed Manoj Chaudhary and Premnath Chaudhary's house in Baijudanda of Belauri-2 at around 2 am on December 27. Cash worth 60,000 along with a Tilahari worth 45,000, a pair of earrings worth 25,000, a mangalsutra worth 17,000, a ring worth 15,000, and a small Tilahari worth 19,000 was stolen from Chaudhary's house. Similarly, two mobile phones worth 30,000 and an anklet worth 4,500 were also stolen.
Incident number 3
On December 31 at around 2:35 am, a team under the command of Police Inspector Dansingh Bhandari was patrolling the border area in Belauri-1 Baisakhkha, in an attempt to catch the suspected group of Indian nationals involved in the robberies. The Indian nationals who were suspected for the robberies came in a group of three. They were arrested in the sugarcane fields in ward no 1.
The police immediately arrested Raju Indris, a resident of village Mitauli, Lakhimpur police station, Mitauli, India. While searching his house, the police found 4 large and 2 small bullets. Two other people who came with Indris were hidden in the sugarcane fields with weapons and were taken into custody by the police at 7:15 am.

When the police searched the place where Raju Indris was taken into custody, they recovered a loaded pistol at 3:15 am. On the same day at 7:55 in the morning, while surveying the sugarcane field, the police found and arrested Mujiv Banjada, a resident of Mitauli, Lakhimpur district, India, and Yushub Banjada, a resident of Lakhimpur Khiri, Thana Bhira, Jagdeupur.
