Youths arrested for possessing brown sugar

Dhangadhi: Two people possessing brown sugar have been arrested from Dhangadhi Bus Park in Kailali. On Saturday morning, 2 people with brown sugar were arrested after being caught in a police check. The arrested were on a motorcycle heading towards Campus Chowk from the intersection located at Bus Park-4 in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City.

District Police Office Kailali informed that the driver Pratap Okheda, 25, who lives in Phulwari, and the rider of the same motorcycle, Manoj Bk 25, were arrested during a checking conducted by the police while they were on the motorcycle numbered SE 5 P 9371.

District Police Office Kailali spokesperson Ved Prakash Joshi said that inside the blue book cover of the driver's pocket, a packet of 410 milligrams of brown sugar wrapped in white plastic was found. DSP Joshi said that both the people are under arrest and further investigation is underway.
