A Nepalese man arrested by the Indian police for possessing Cannabis

Dhangadhi: A Nepalese man has been arrested by the Indian police from the Nepal-India border area along with Cannabis hash. A 41-year-old Gangadhar Gautam of Ghodaghodi Municipality 1 of Kailali was arrested with two and a half kilos of hashish near Sharda Barrage under a joint operation of Indian Border Security Force (SSB) and police.

Indian police have launched an anti-narcotics campaign in Uttarakhand. According to the police, under the same campaign, Gautam was arrested along with Cannabis and jailed in Champawat.
