Free health camp to be conducted in Baitadi

Baitadi: A free health camp will be conducted tomorrow Sunday at Patan 7 of Baitadi. Patan Municipality of Baitadi is running a free health camp from Sunday. The municipality is going to provide treatment services for non-communicable diseases in different places.

Health Coordinator of Patan Municipality Madan Singh Mahara informed that the first phase of the health camp would be held at Kailpal Health Chowki in Patan 7 from Sunday. He said that free health camps have been prepared in all 10 wards and will now be conducted in wards 1, 5, and 7. Health coordinator Mahara said that since non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, heart problems, and cancer are increasing free health camps are being conducted. In the first phase, a health camp will be held at the Maternity Center in Ward No. 1 Sakar on the 5th of Paush, at Basantpur Health Chowki in Patan 5 on the 7th, and at Kailpal Health Chowki of Patan 7 on the 3rd of Paush.

Health coordinator Mahara said that non-communicable diseases caused by poor diet and lifestyle will be tested and treated and counseling services will be provided in the camp. Asthma and respiratory problems, high blood pressure, heart-related diseases, diabetes, joint pain, breast and uterine cancer, and mental health-related services will be provided has been mentioned in the notification issued by the municipality. It is said that medicine according to the disease will also be distributed in the camp. The municipality has also requested everyone to take treatment services.
