Dengue cases decrease in Kanchanpur
Kanchanpur: With the onset of winter, the cases of dengue is decreasing in Kanchanpur. Dengue infection, which was spreading rapidly until a few months ago, is decreasing. Malaria Inspector of Health Office Kanchanpur Siddharaj Bhatta informed that the infection has decreased compared to the previous month.
"There has been a decrease in dengue infection in the last few months, sometimes patients are coming sporadically," he said. Acting Medical Superintendent of Mahakali Hospital, Dr. Arjun Bhatta, said that because the production and growth of dengue-carrying mosquitoes slow down in the cold, the infection is decreasing.
He said that the infection has decreased because the health office conducted a campaign to find and destroy mosquitoes at the community level. Lately, dengue patients have been coming to Mahakali Hospital sporadically. He said, 'Patients with asthma, sugar, pressure, and fever are coming to the hospital.' So far, 250 dengue patients have been found in Mahakali Hospital.
