Cattle found buried in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: In Kanchanpur, cattle were found buried in a ditch. About half a dozen cattle were found buried in a pit near Chorpani in Vedkot Municipality-3.

Locals have pulled out cattle buried in the ditch using a dozer. But it is not clear who buried those cows in a pit. The locals have accused the municipal office of killing and burying Pashuchaupaya overnight.

Demanding management, the locals brought the cattle to the municipal office on Sunday and Monday and detained them. However, Pashuchoupaya was later taken to the Gaushala established in Musepani of Ward No. 6 in a truck at night, according to the municipality.

It is said that 153 animals were taken to the cowshed on Monday night. However, the municipality has not given any response regarding the burial. The people's representatives claim that the problem arose after the cows kept in the cowshed were thrown out of the cowshed by an unknown group.
