Structures are being removed in Attariya on Monday as well

Kailali: In Attariya of Kailali, the municipality, which started removing the structures built by encroaching on the road in the market area from Sunday, continued the work on Monday as well. The Godawari Municipality of the district has started demolishing the structures built by encroaching on the road area.

The work started in front of the municipal office has reached the market area. Mayor of Godawari Birendra Bhatta said that the encroachment structure has been cleared to make the Attariya market orderly. Since the municipality started using dozers, some people have started removing the structure themselves since yesterday.

The municipality has already issued notices 4 times to remove the structures built by encroaching on the road. In the Attariya market area, along the highway, street vendors have encroached on the road and built tin awnings in front of the shops. The municipality is going to remove other structures with the said roof.
