40 extra votes found in Bajura

Dhangadhi: Counting of votes has resumed in Bajura. Earlier, there was a dispute between the party representatives after finding extra votes in the ballots.  According to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, the counting has resumed with the agreement of the candidates and party representatives.

The UML alleged that 40 extra votes were found in Himali Rural Municipality 6 Dhim for the House of Representatives, while 98 extra votes were found in the ballot box of Budhiganga Municipality 3 polling station for the Provincial Assembly (2), Congress workers claimed.

Counting of votes had been postponed after 40 extra votes were found in Bajura. During the counting of votes in Himali rural municipality-6 Dhim polling station of the district, it is said that the counting of votes was postponed after extra votes than the quota was received.
